Made with 70% renewable resources, plant starch utensils represent an improvement over traditional products that use 100% virgin petroleum by reducing the consumption of the non-renewable fossil fuels required to make conventional plastic cutlery. They are excellent for hot foods and liquids, and can tolerate heat up to 200-degrees.

While less harmful to the environment than conventional plastic, these products are non-compostable.
