 Ecotainer™ Compostable Soup Cups
In a conventional paper hot cup, the inner surface is lined with a petroleum-based plastic (polyethylene) to prevent leaking. This cup is lined with a vegetable biopolymer, which makes it the only paper hot cup made from fully renewable materials.
The fiber used to make the cups is grown and harvested according to Sustainable Forestry Initiative guidelines,
so there is no harvesting of old-growth forests. The raw material for the cup coating comes from corn grown in the
United States, and is manufactured in a greenhouse-gas-neutral process. And, after use, the cup will break down into the natural elements from which it was produced. MADE IN THE USA
